Welcome to UD OLLI Online!

Offered by the University of Delaware Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes, this statewide virtual classroom program is designed to bring together OLLI members from UD's OLLI programs throughout the state. Through this UD OLLI Online pilot program, participants can experience the benefits of lifelong learning at home and connect with a vibrant community of adult learners at the OLLI Wilmington and OLLI Kent-Sussex programs.

UD OLLI Online classes are offered on a wide array of subjects through the Zoom platform and all will be taught by experienced, dedicated volunteer OLLI instructors from across the state.

All aspects of this new joint program will occur online, including registration, payment and class activities. Registration opens May 26, 2020 at 10 a.m. and "seats" will be allotted on a first-come, first served basis. Click here for details about registration processes and policies.

Participation in UD OLLI Online requires a computer or mobile device with a camera and microphone and reliable Internet connection. Familiarity with the online Zoom meeting platform is also required. Free training will be provided by the OLLI Summer Online team!

UD OLLI Online is being offered in lieu of in-person OLLI at UD Summer Sessions, which were canceled due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Although canceling in-person programming was a difficult decision, the safety and well-being of our community is our foremost concern. Any events or gatherings of the size of our OLLI classes are contradictory to current federal mandates to not gather in groups and to maintain social distancing. For additional updates on UD’s COVID-19 response, please see www.udel.edu/coronavirus.
