The University of Delaware’s lifelong learning program is hosting the upcoming UD by the Sea event featuring educational programming and social activities in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, May 24-27.
Sponsored by UD’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) in partnership with UD’s Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program, the event is designed by and for OLLI members, their guests and the community.
The event’s social activities combine with diverse educational tracks featuring guest speakers and UD experts presenting on:
UD by the Sea takes place at the Atlantic Sands Hotel and Conference Center located on the Boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach. The $150 program fee includes educational programming; reception with entertainment, hors d’oeuvres and cash bar; breakfast (May 25-27); happy hour and other social activities. Participants are responsible for accommodations.
Prior OLLI membership or participation is not required to register for UD by the Sea.
UD’s OLLI program is a membership-based organization structured as a learning cooperative for adults 50 and over to take and teach classes together with no grades, exams or educational prerequisites.
