OLLI’s upcoming UD by the Sea event, May 23-26, is featured in the current issue of Delaware Beach Life, a popular magazine focused on our state’s beach community and environment, its unique surroundings, issues and lifestyle.
The Delaware Beach Life article featured comments from OLLI volunteer instructor and Rehoboth-area resident Pete Harrigan, and from Sally Cole, manager of UD’s OLLI program in Kent and Sussex Counties, as well as from former OLLI Wilmington and OLLI Online director Jen Merrill.
“This was such an exciting opportunity for us to be involved in sharing about UD’s lifelong learning program with our neighbors in the Delaware coastal region and all over the state,” said Cole, a Lewes resident. “We were really honored to be included in this article.”
Hosted by the University of Delaware’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), UD by the Sea is an annual educational and social event held in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, this year set for May 23-26.
