More than 2,000 members attend classes in person and online each semester, enjoying social opportunities, meeting with friends, and staying physically active and mentally sharp in retirement.
OLLI classes are offered in Dover, Lewes, Newark, Ocean View, Wilmington, online and at partner locations. Approximately 200 OLLI members and guests attend UD by the Sea, OLLI’s annual social event hosted at the beach.
OLLI members are active in participatory arts and academic coursework and come from a wide range of professional and nonprofessional careers. The majority hold four-year degrees; 20% hold professional degrees; and all are residents of Delaware, southern Pennsylvania and eastern Maryland:
70% are 60-79 years old
68% are married
63% are female
93% have college or advanced degrees
Spring 2023 program membership was approximately 2,300. OLLI has campuses in Wilmington, Dover, Lewes and Ocean View, which draw members from across Delaware and southeastern Pennsylvania.
