The April 15, 2019, fire in Notre Dame de Paris cathedral came very close to destroying the 800 year old structure. With the use of information from documentaries, newspaper accounts and French government documents, we will trace the fighting of the fire. We will hear quotations (translated into English) of those who fought the fire, government officials and others present during the fire. This is a single lecture presentation.
