Mycenaean Culture: Homeric Myth (G908)

Journey back to the Bronze Age Aegean of approximately 1600-1200 BCE and delve into the fascinating world of the Mycenaean civilization. From their rise under Minoan influence to their impressive palace-cities, epic warfare, mysterious collapse, and rebirth in Homeric myth, this course will explore the daily lives, economy, and cultural achievements of this early Greek culture.
