World Class White Wines (F901)

Wednesday: 2:00 PM-3:30 PM

More than 90 percent of all quality white wine comes from four grape varietals: Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris/Pinot Grigio. This class will explore the varietals that go into making world-class white wines with an opportunity to sample several wines and their food pairings.

A $20 materials fee will be charged payable at the beginning of class.

ROBERTS, DEBRA –Ed.S., M.S., counseling and student personnel services, SUNY Albany; B.A., English literature, art history, SUNY Binghamton. Retired counselor, Delaware Technical and Community College, Terry Campus.

MAKARUCHA, WALTER–Recently retired financial advisor with an interest in wine and wine-making. Level I sommelier from the New York Institute of Wine at the World Trade Center.
