Painting Styles and Techniques of Famous Artists (B304)

B – Fine Arts

Painting styles and techniques of famous artists will be presented in lecture format followed by class participants creating an acrylic painting in the style of the featured artist. Every two weeks a new artist will be discussed. Materials and supplies must be brought to class by the student. Prerequisite: Experienced painter in acrylics.

INSTRUCTOR: Nancy Horan

HORAN, NANCY–M.S.N., Catholic University; B.S.; University of Maryland. In earlier career, was a nurse practitioner and clinical professor associated with George Mason and George Washington Universities. Over the last decade, has pursued a lifelong love of art, developing collage and painting skills.
