Raubacher at the Biggs: An Intimate Tour (A900)

Join the artist and the museum curator, Laura Fravel, for a very special tour of Rebecca Raubacher’s new exhibit, Horses & Other Creatures at the Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover. This fabulous exhibit showcases Raubacher’s signature large-scale horses, along with African wildlife and mythological beings. Raubacher and Fravel offer a unique, inside look at the inspiration and technique behind the artist’s work and how an exhibit like this comes together.

A $6 admission fee (the group rate for seniors) will be collected the day of the event and is not included in the course fee. (Admission is free for museum members.)

INSTRUCTOR: Susan Salkin

SALKIN, SUSAN–B.A., social welfare, Penn State. Former deputy director of the Delaware Division of the Arts and VP of the Board of Trustees of the Biggs Museum of American Art. Previously managed a food co-op, a bookstore and a nonprofit community music school.
