Mandala Dot Painting (B903)

B – Fine Arts

Graphic of Delaware with New Castle County Highlighted

Wilmington (Arsht Hall) | June 25, 2024-June 27, 2024

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM-12:00 PM

The origin or meaning of mandala in Sanskrit is “circle,” and by extension, sphere, community and world. By carefully placing your dots in specific patterns, you can create a design using the same radial symmetry used in ancient and modern times. You will learn the techniques needed to create these beautiful mandalas including dip and dot, walking the dot and layering the dot. For this three-day workshop, all tools, paints and birch panels are provided by the instructor.

There is a $10 materials fee to be paid to the instructor on the first day.

This offering meets for a total of 3 session(s).
