This is a hybrid course. One section meets on site at the location listed; and one section meets online only.
Three million horses and mules were inducted to serve both sides in America’s Civil War, critical for the mobility and combat actions of both armies. This course will provide, in detail, the induction process, training, care and how each department utilized them. Period photographs and paintings are used throughout the lecture.
