New York City, 10 Unique Views, Volume 4 continues presenting fascinating stories about the world’s greatest city. Ten OLLI members each deliver a session on a unique aspect of New York life, based on personal interest, experience and expertise. This semester’s topics includes houses of worship, the city’s many islands, the City University, and New York in movies and in song. See detailed curriculum content listing for full details.

HARRIGAN, PETER—B.S., finance, Siena College; executive leadership program, University of Maryland. Retired Lockheed Martin Corporation, communications executive. Former reporter, editor with the Staten Island Advance, where assignments included state government correspondent.
ROSEN, SHARON—Currently entering second year on OLLI Wilmington Council, enjoys teaching and sharing information about New York City with fellow OLLI members. Began contributing her time as a virtual class assistant soon after becoming an OLLI member in 2020. Graduated from the City College of New York and has master’s degrees from Hunter College.
POWDERLY, THOMAS–B.S., Niagara University, M.P.S., New School for Social Research, C.T.C., The Travel Institute. Native New Yorker, circumnavigator, lifelong theatre enthusiast. Numerous travel industry leadership positions, awards and honors including Honorary Captain of the QE2.
