R – Physical Sciences and Mathematics

Graphic of a computer

Online | June 25, 2024-June 25, 2024

Tuesday: 2:30 PM-4:00 PM

What are the pros and cons of electric vehicle (EV) ownership? Would an EV match your vehicle needs? How accurate are the headlines claiming that EVs catch fire more often than other vehicles, that EVs cause more lifetime greenhouse gas emissions than gasoline and hybrid vehicles, or that the U.S. doesn’t have the generating capacity to charge them? This course attempts to answer these and other questions. The course is an expanded version of the presentation offered during the Current Issues course.

This offering meets for a total of 1 session(s).
