Early Church History: the Apostolic Age (J301)

Friday: 10:45 AM-12:00 PM

This course covers the key leaders and events of the first-century church. We discuss topics such as the Pax Romana, the Holy Spirit’s coming at Pentecost, Saul’s conversion, Peter’s vision and its implications, and the Council at Jerusalem. We delve into the lives of leaders such as the apostle Peter; the apostle John; the apostle Paul; James, the Lord’s brother, and the women who played a significant role in the early church. We read selected passages from the New Testament.

TREMONTE, SALVATORE–A.A., A.S., B.S., M.Ed., Widener University. Teaching certificate in adult education, Delaware Department of Education. Taught workforce development courses for Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC). Managed crew training aboard aircraft carriers for NSWC. Taught church history courses at local churches.
