CA – Performing Arts (Appreciation)

Many great symphonists and opera composers have also contributed to the sub-genre of “ballet music.” We will examine such music for the dance by composers such as Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Prokofiev, Copland. Do not expect a course on ballet per se; just come to experience and enjoy some wonderful music by some of the greatest composers.
