Behind the Signs of Life (P903)

This four-week course presents information about the four main vital signs, which are the initial step in evaluating a person’s state of health. Through lectures, discussion and some active demonstration, we will learn about measuring those signs, and the physiologic basis of heart rate, blood pressure, temperature and respiratory rate with brief discussions about changes in these parameters in different disease states.
