How does one teach about the Holocaust? One must begin with questions. Between 1941 and 1945, the German state led by Adolf Hitler murdered 6 million Jews and countless others. This course considers many questions in order to gain insight into how this monstrous occurrence happened.

INSTRUCTORS: Jack Vinokur, Iris Vinokur

VINOKUR, JACK–B.A., Temple University; M.A., educational leadership, University of Delaware. Fulbright scholar to Mexico. Over 45 years in education as a teacher of history and a school district and university administrator. Has extensively studied the Holocaust and taught the subject at both the high school and university levels.

VINOKUR, IRIS–B.A., elementary and special education, M.Ed., educational leadership, University of Delaware. Retired from the New Castle County Votech School District as supervisor of special education. Studied and taught Holocaust education with husband, Jack. Educator and volunteer who loves teaching!
