Overview Of The Intelligence Community (IA220-1)

IA – International Affairs

Lewes (Trinity Faith Education Building) | February 3, 2025-February 24, 2025

Monday: 2:30 PM-3:45 PM

This is a hybrid course. One section meets on site at the location listed; and one section meets online only.

This course introduces intelligence and the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC), of which the instructor was a member with the Army, as well as with the State Department, in various roles. This introductory class gives students an insight into intelligence more broadly and the U.S. IC, specifically.

INSTRUCTOR: Trudie Thompson

THOMPSON, TRUDIE–M.S., strategic intelligence, National Intelligence University; M.A., international relations; University of Southern California, B.A., German, Middlebury College. Volunteers for many different organizations, including PAWS for People, Rotary, Rehoboth Beach Library, and of course, OLLI. Retired Army Reserve officer and foreign service officer who served in Germany, Botswana, Korea, Australia, Afghanistan and Washington, D.C. Loves music and never misses a chance to sing harmony; sings with the CAMP Rehoboth Chorus and vari ous barbershop groups.
